Welcome to Slate Signs & Designs, where we work high quality slates to produce a superior product that will last for years and always look good. While most of our work is with slate, we also work other natural stones sourced from home and abroad. Slate, with its solid form and uniformity of colour makes it eminently suitable for signs. Text and decoration stand out well on this hardwaring material.
We have invested in the latest technology to enable us to produce high quality traditionally "V" cut slate products at very competitive prices. We engrave our products, rather than use non "green" shot blasting systems that are very energy consuming. Many fonts (text styles) are available and they are engraved and colour inlaid as shown below. Artwork and decoration can also be applied, every sign is hand finished to ensure the product is of the highest standard.

Easy Pricing
Its easy to find the price of your sign, just add the width in centimetres to the height in centimetres and that's the cost to you in £. That includes a proof layout sent by e-mail or post, holes and fixings. Packing and delivery to UK mainland addresses is £5 for small, £10 for medium and £15 for large signs.
For example, a sign 50cm wide x 30cm high will cost 50+30 = £80.
If a sign has to have a lot more text than the sample signs shown here, you may need to purchase a larger sign to accommodate the additional text. If you want very small text, artwork or something special ask for a quotation.
